چکیده

One of the wastes making tempe is soybean husk which comes from boiling and soaking. Soybean waste that not utilized causes unpleasant odors pollutes environment. Utilization as organic fertilizer can be used to overcome pollution. This study aims utilize a liquid applied mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). type research included in True Experimental Design. Efektivitas Zat Antibakteri Biji Mimba (Azadirachta indica) untuk Menghambat Pertumbuhan Salmonella thyposa dan Staphylococcus aureus

Neem (Azadirachta indica) is a multifunction plant. Its leaves and seeds can be used as a traditional medicine. One of the benefits of neem seeds is that they can serve as antibacteria. It happens because neem seeds contain certain substances which can impede the growth of Salmonella thyposa and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The aims of this research were to find out the efectiveness of soaki...

Effect of cadaverine on Brassica juncea (L.) under multiple stress.

The cadaverine (Cad), an organic diamine was examined for its response on growth in salinity and metal stressed B. juncea cv RH-30 vis-à-vis compared the response of ammonium nitrate. The Cad (1 mM) application ameliorated the effect caused by salinity and metal stress on seed germination and plant growth. The plant growth recovery (dry biomass accumulation) was dependent on stress and diamine ...

Nitric oxide production induced by heavy metals in Brassica juncea L. Czern. and Pisum sativum L

In plants, nitric oxide (NO) has multiple roles in defence reactions under abiotic stresses, including heavy metal load. Literature data suggest that there is a causal relationship between NO and iron metabolism but the effects of essential micronutrients/toxic heavy metals on NO production have not been investigated. In this study our aim is to demonstrate the possible role of NO in the plant ...

Potential of Ricinus Communis L. and Brassica Juncea (L.) Czern. under natural and induced Pb Phytoextraction

Put “metal into the petal” of plants which literally means bioavailability and translocation of the heavy metal to the plants is an important factor in phytoextraction. A green house experiments was conducted to study potential of Ricinus communis and Brassica juncea in metal accumulation at different concentration of Pb and also the effect of the application of two different chelators i.e., ED...

ASSESSING APHID INFESTATION IN INDIAN MUSTARD (Brassica juncea L.) UNDER PRESENT AND FUTURE CLIMATE SCENARIOS

Mustard (Brassica juncea L.) production in India suffers from aphid, Lipaphis erysimi (Kaltenbach), infestation considerably. Role of weather on the incidence and development of mustard aphids was assessed from experimental data from six north Indian locations. Aphid appearance and population build up was found to be regulated by temperature and time to attain peak population was relatively sho...
